Popakademie Talks

In the "Popakademie Talks" series, guests from the music and culture sector talk about various current topics.

The Popakademie initiated the talk series in 2021 to respond to current issues and invite artists and creative professionals to discuss current topics. The talks are moderated by Head of Studies Prof. Dr. David-Emil Wickström, among others.

So far, the focus has been on topics such as discrimination in music, mental health, music & environment and music & sustainability.

In the summer semester 2024, Marina Fischer, Prof. Dr. Kristine Ringsager and Moses Pelham will be guests and speak on the topic of "Music and Power".
