Bandpool looking for the new generation

The Bandpool is the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg's top support program that operates outside of the course offerings. Bands, solo artists and producers from all over Germany are coached and supported over 18 months during ten workshop weekends in Mannheim. The aim is to prepare them for their entry into the professional music business.
"The Bandpool has been the Popakademie's successful top promotion program since 1998. With over 150 participating acts, we have a successful track record: 70 deals with majors, 86 chart entries, several gold awards and ECHO nominations, two ECHOs, nine Radio Regenbogen Awards and many other awards. Numerous successful bands such as ClockClock, Revolverheld, Max Giesinger, Lotte, Provinz and NOVAA have emerged from the program," says Michael Herberger, Business Director and Managing Director of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. The application phase runs until November 30th 2023 for the 26th generation of the Popakademie band pool. The project is free of charge for participants. Only the travel costs to and from the event have to be covered.The focus is on individual coaching and support measures and the development of a functioning business partner network.
