International Summer Camp
Start your summer with us and be part of the 16th International Summer Camp of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg!The International Summer Camp offers around 60 musicians a varied week of workshops with excellent networking opportunities under the guidance of a top-class team of lecturers. Band rehearsals, creative songwriting and music production are the focus of the summer course. There are also themed master classes, workshops and specials. Individual and group lessons in singing, songwriting, music production and various instruments complete the programme. The week ends with a public final concert.
The International Summer Camp will be held from 25 to 30 July 2026
- Registration is open from 1 March to 17 May 2026
- The participation fee is 350 EUR (without accommodation).
- Students from partner institutions of Popakademie pay 250 EUR (without accommodation).
- Applications are open to (semi-)professional songwriters, producers, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, percussionists, oud players, bağlama players and kanun players.
- Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and above. We recommend participation between the ages of 18 and 35.

International Summer Camp 2026
In addition to musicians from Mannheim, the surrounding area and students from the Popakademie, we invite students from international partner universities, e.g. Sweden, Ireland, England, Australia, the USA or the Netherlands, and international musicians to participate.
The public final concert is on Thursday, 30 July 2026, at Popakademie.
