Artistic/technical advice and project support Popular Music Education

Prof. Axel Schwarz works as a musician, composer, lyricist, producer and lecturer and can look back on numerous releases, chart successes and over 1 million records sold for various projects.

He studied classical music, works as a keyboardist, writes and produces pop music, TV instrumentals, piano music and more.

With “Schwarz' Music Planet” he runs a publishing house and a music production company.

He passes on his knowledge nationwide through coaching and seminar activities in the field of pop music. He has been a lecturer in various subjects at the Popakademie/Baden-Württemberg since it was founded. He is responsible for artistic/technical consulting and project supervision for the Department of Pedagogy & Popular Music and is also responsible for the music education projects Pop macht Schule (formerly School of Rock) and InPop (artistic direction and conception). He designs and leads various state-approved teacher training programs in the field of pop music.

In 2015, he was appointed professor at the Popakademie.
