Michelle Leonard


Michelle Leonard is a singer, artist developer, lecturer, songwriter & publisher based in Berlin. She has been in the music industry since the age of 17 and has worked and written for and with numerous artists including Nico Santos, Red Moon, AURORA, Robin Schulz, Alice Merton, Paul van Dyk, Sarah Connor, Tarja Turunen, Generations (Japan), Lxandra, Darryl Jones and many more.

Many of her co-written songs have been used in national (Hanni und Nanni, Ku'damm 59) and international series (such as Blacklist, Hanna, The 100, Reign, Good behaviour, Frequency, Teen Wolf, The commons, Riverdale), as well as in films (Wolfwalkers, Zweiohrküken, Hotdog, etc.) and commercials (Wolfwalkers, Two Ears Chicks, Hotdog, etc.). v.m) and in advertising (such as Unicef, C&A, AXE, JEEP, Renault Zoe, FORD KA or Aurora "Running with the wolves" for Vodafone).

Since 2005 Michelle has been a lecturer in songwriting at the Pop Academy, Columbia College Chicago and the SRH Hochschule der Populären Künste in Germany.

She has been a speaker on various panels (such as the EU Parliament 2019) and has given numerous workshops worldwide.

Michelle is an alternate board member of GEMA and a current "Initiative Musik" jury member.

In 2011, Michelle founded the co-publishing company "DOLSIRA" with Universal Music Publishing Germany and took care of the development of Berlin artists such as Elif and Alina, among others.
Her label "DOLSIRA Music" is in partnership with Zebralution. Releases include Großraumindiefresse (with Bonnie Strange) "Richtig Nice".

In 2018, she followed up with the edition "EERA" in collaboration with BMG Rights Management, under which she signed Morten Aamodt aka Dillistone and Venior.

In 2015, she launched her own artist project "Solamay", which went platinum (dance features include Robin Schulz, Alex Mattson, etc.).
She is currently working on her new artist solo project "The Leonard".
