Dirk Görtler

Pop Culture

Dirk Görtler studied design and illustration and has been an illustrator and designer since 1980. He works for publishing houses in Germany, Switzerland and the USA.

Between 1992 and 2000, through the co-editing of the cultural magazine "Chelsea Hotel, A Magazine for the Arts", an intensive collaboration with artists, writers and musicians, mainly from the USA, began. Intensive travel through the USA and Canada for decades broadened his own horizons in relation to the American space and culture.
