Joannie Labelle

With musical sensitivity and a gripping groove, Joannie Labelle can enchant an audience whenever she sings or plays percussion.

She learned her skills from renowned masters such as Paul Picard, Raul Lali Brito Gonzalez, Harouna Dembélé and has been active both locally and internationally in Montreal, Vancouver, Paris, Bari, Doha and Kolkata, to name a few. She has performed on stage with renowned artists such as Lara Fabian, Stefanie Heinzmann and Marie-Josée Lord, among others.

Joannie is proficient in various styles of percussion from numerous cultures and is comfortable in many musical contexts, from children's shows to pop and rock productions to classical concerts. She accompanies DJs, performs on television, offers master classes, composes for dance choreography, and produced a video documentary series featuring percussionists from around the world. In addition, Joannie performs as a solo artist under the stage name Bea Box and has three releases.
