Full House at the drum consulting with Lui Ludwig

Open House at the Popakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg

28. January 2019

On Saturday, 2 February, starting at 3 p.m., the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg will open its doors to interested visitors. Lecturers, staff and course managers from the Popular Music and Music and Creative Industries departments will then provide information about the various courses of study.

With a colourful public programme and live music by the band Trille right at the start, the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg invites you to an information day. The focus will be on the three bachelor's degree programmes Pop Music Design, Music Business and World Music as well as the two master's degree programmes Popular Music and Music & Creative Industries. The taster lecture by the Popakademie Business Director, Prof. Hubert Wandjo, will provide a practical insight into the study programme.

The course managers Prof. Dr. Nina Schneider (Music & Creative Industries) and Prof. Dr. Heiko Wandler (Popular Music) will provide information about the master's courses with lectures at 3.45 p.m. and 4.15 p.m. Lecturers from 3 p.m. will include Annette Marquard (vocals), Lui Ludwig (drums), Peter Wölpl (guitar), Frank Itt (bass), Arno Müller (producing), Maze Leber (keyboard), among others, who will be available for individual consultation.

Since 2003, the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg has been the only state-run university institution in Germany to offer courses in popular music and music and creative industries.
