FINJA and Florin at Sound Up

Finja Bernau is currently pursuing a B.A. in Pop Music Design at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. She has been releasing her own music as a solo artist since 2023. With her project FINJA, she is now making her mark on the German pop scene. Her first single, “Metall,” marked the debut of the Finja sound, which can be described as “urban German pop.”
Florin and his band are part of the 27th generation of the Bandpool. His songs are snapshots—questions without easy answers, thoughts that linger. When he picks up the trumpet, music becomes emotion, sound becomes movement. Raised in Kassel, Florin found his musical voice early on.
The Bandpool is the flagship development program of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, in which bands from across Germany are coached and supported over 18 months through ten workshop weekends in Mannheim. The goal is to prepare them for entry into the professional music business.
Doors open at 9 p.m., with the newcomers taking the stage at 10 p.m. Admission is 12 euros. Following the respective live acts, the evening continues with a DJ set.
