17. June 2020

Pop music design graduate Klaus Sahm signed a long-term exclusive author contract with the independent music publisher Peermusic Germany this week. "With Peermusic I have found exactly the right publishing home to realize my ideas and my creative work in various genres", Klaus himself says about the deal.

Klaus Sahm studied the bachelor's degree course in pop music design at the Popakademie, majoring in keyboard and minor in guitar. He made intensive use of the Popakademie network to make a name for himself over the years as a musician, songwriter and producer. The 30-year-old has already worked as a musical director with and for Max Giesinger, Namika and Yvonne Catterfeld, and has appeared on stage with Madeline Juno and Rockstah. As a songwriter he was involved in the album "Filter" by Tim Bendzko, which made it into the Top 10 album charts. In addition, he has already been awarded several gold and platinum awards, among others for his band activity on Max Giesinger's album "Der Junge der rennt". Besides his musical successes, Klaus is also active as a photographer and videographer and has designed numerous album covers, music videos and tour diaries. Recently he has united his two passions and publishes his own instrumental combinations in combination with his photographs on klaussahm.de.

Peermusic is considered the world's largest independent music publisher with offices in 30 countries. The company's catalogue contains more than 500.000 titles from all genres, including hits such as "Firework" (Katy Perry) and "Walk Like An Egyptian" (The Bangles) or evergreens like "You Are My Sunshine" and "Georgia On My Mind".
