D.Pop
The Pop Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg starts the next phase of its internationalisation and supports the Goethe Institut with the holding of the project “D.Pop". The international project for the promotion of the German language and for a better experience of the German culture abroad is financed and organised by the Goethe Institut, at the initiative of the Department of State. Popakademie’s input to this project is based on the existing idea of the coaching pilot project “School of Rock”, which takes place every year in the Metropolitan Region Rhine-Neckar, supported by BASF SE.
Similar to “School of Rock” “D.Pop” responds to the particular interests and skills of students. The medium music is used as an advertising tool for the sympathy towards Germany and the German language. Scopes from “Word & Raps”, “Body Percussion” and “Singalong” are communicated. Bandcoaching and the communicative interaction with bands top the project off.
