Directions coming from Frankfurt (A6):

  • Take the exit Mannheim Sandhofen
  • Take the B-44 towards MA-Waldhof
  • Follow B-44 for approx. 7 km towards MA-Zentrum (city center), stay in the right lane
  • After Jungbuschbrücke (directly after the bridge, which spans over the river Neckar) turn right into Hellingstraße
  • At the next intersection (T) turn left into Hafenstraße
  • After approx. 50 meters you have reached your destination “Popakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg” on the right-hand side

 

Directions coming from Stuttgart/Karlsruhe (A5 / A6 / A656):

  • At Autobahnkreuz Mannheim” (interchange) take the exit towards MA-Mitte (city center)
  • Follow the road until you turn left onto Friedrichsring
  • Follow until it leads onto Luisenring
  • Take a right turn into Neckarvorlandstraße and follow the road for approx. 700 meters
  • At the next intersection turn left into Hafenstraße
  • After approx. 100 meters you have reached your destination “Popakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg” on the right-hand side


Public transportation

  • Take the bus #60 (direction: Grenadierstraße) from Mannheim train station
  • Get off at the bus station Hafenstraße

Schedule:

  • During the week departure at Mannheim train station 20, 40 and 00
  • On Saturdays departure at Mannheim train station 10 and 40
  • No bus transportation on Sunday

Alternative solution for Sunday:

  • Take the streetcar #3 (direction: Sandhofen) from Mannheim train station
  • Get off at the station Paradeplatz
  • Take the streetcar #2 (direction: Neckarstadt West)
    • You can also take the streetcar # 1 (direction: Schönau) from Paradeplatz. Get off at the station Alte Feuerwache and take the streetcar #2 (direction: Feudenheim)
  • In all cases you get off at the station Dalbergstraße
  • Turn right and follow Jungbuschstraße until it leads into Hafenstraße after approx. 5 minutes (walking distance)
  • Turn right and after approx. 2 minutes  you have reached the “Popakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg”
