Shareholders of the Pop Academy are the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Mannheim, the broadcast station SWR, Universal Music, a group of companies from Mannheim (consisting of the companies Radio Regenbogen, bigFM, Dr. Haas GmbH, Roche Diagnostics, Fuchs Petrolub, Richard Engelhorn and Sunshine Live) as well as the LFK (Media Authority of Baden-Wuerttemberg).

Furthermore there are project and cooperation partners, which support the Academy.

Our endorsement partners play an important role, so that the Pop Academy's Rock 'n' Roll can be heard.

In line with the EU project MU:ZONE we cooperate with several academies in Europe and arrange a student exchange with our EU partners every year.

Many projects are accompanied and presented by media partners.

Furthermore, in March 2004 the promotion group ‚Friends of Pop‘ was founded to support the Pop Academy.
